At times our lives can feel stressful and overwhelming, which in turn, takes its toll on all areas of life—at home, socially, professionally, physically and mentally.
As well as affecting your health and wellbeing, these feelings can make it seem difficult to stay connected and not lose your sense of identity.
I recognise the importance of supporting you through these difficult experiences and believe that by talking, and exploring the emotions connected with these feelings, the weight you are carrying can begin to ease.
The counselling I currently offer is for individual adults, and the approach I practice is integrative with a Person Centred core. This approach values your thoughts, beliefs and ability to make your own decisions. It believes that only you can know what is really right for you.
I am able to offer you a safe, confidential space where you can explore your feelings, talk freely and feel heard without judgement or any unwanted advice.
During our sessions we will explore the issues you are experiencing to enable you to reflect on them and help you to see things more clearly.
Together we can explore a number of issues including, but not limited to, the following:
- Relationship issues
- Low self-esteem
- Life changes
The aim is for you feel less anxious and more relaxed—to improve your sense of well-being and to see a clearer road ahead.
We can work at a pace comfortable for you, and set a course of therapy that feels right for you.
I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework.
