What kind of counselling do you offer?
I offer Integrated therapy with a Person Centred core. This is a type of talking therapy that believes you are the only one who can really know what is best for you. We can explore the issues you are experiencing and look at the affect they are having on you. Through exploration we may be able to find tools to help you navigate these issues more easily.
Do you offer counselling remotely?
Yes, the sessions I offer are via WhatsApp video, Zoom or telephone.
Who do you offer counselling to?
I work with individual adult clients dealing with a variety of issues.
I also work with couples seeking relationship counselling.
Are the sessions confidential?
Yes. However there are necessary limits to total confidentiality, which will be discussed with you at your first session.
How long are the sessions?
The sessions are 50 minutes long.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is different, and everybody’s needs are individual. At our first session we will explore your hopes and expectations for therapy and can discuss what length course of therapy would be most suitable for you.
If you are looking to have a one off session, this is something that I do offer.
Where is your therapy room located?
The therapy sessions are remote, therefore accessible to most people.
How do online therapy sessions compare to face to face sessions?
Having worked online for some time now, I find the sessions equally as connecting and in depth as face to face sessions.
What if the internet connection is poor or lost altogether?
If the internet connection is poor, we can reschedule, or complete the session by phone.
What if I cannot wait for a session?
If you feel you are in crisis, please contact The Samaritans on 116 123 at any time
